Slow Down – Art & Presence is a series of mindful creative sessions held at Prosa Plataforma Cultural in Lisbon, where participants are guided to let go of judgment and reconnect body and imagination through artistic materials such as ink, water, and paper. Each edition focuses on a specific technique and dimension of attention, from gesture to contemplation, from the intimate to the collective. Facilitated by Salete Pereira and Filipa Madaleno, no artistic experience or prior idea is needed — only a willingness to experiment and be present.

Do I need any artistic experience to attend?
No experience is needed at all. You don't need to know how to draw or arrive with any idea — just bring your hands and an openness to experiment.
What materials will be used during the session?
The session uses paper, ink, water, line, and color. All materials are provided; you do not need to bring anything special.
Where is the event located and how do I get there?
The event takes place at Prosa Plataforma Cultural, R. Alves Torgo 8, Lisbon. It is located on the side of the Arroios Church. The nearest metro station is Arroios (exit at Praça Chile).
How long does the session last?
The session runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, lasting approximately 3 hours.
