Chai & Chat: Garam Masala x ATÉ CHÁ for Lisbon Tea Week
Event Organizer
Chai & Chat is an informal conversation event held at Absent Lisbon - Offline Café & Third Space, where participants gather over a cup of chai to explore three interconnected themes: the colonial history of tea in India, the Ayurvedic and spice traditions behind chai's ingredients, and the social and cultural life chai holds today. The event is part of the Lisbon Tea Week and is a collaboration between Garam Masala and ATÉ CHÁ. The session invites open dialogue, storytelling, and reflection on how history, migration, ritual, and community can meet in a single cup of tea.
