Back to Grandma's is a Saturday afternoon workshop hosted by Portuguese grandmothers from A Avó Veio Trabalhar at LACS Anjos in Lisbon. Participants are invited to bring an old plain shirt and learn simple embroidery techniques inspired by traditional Portuguese craftsmanship, with no prior experience required. The afternoon also includes homemade cake, tea, biscuits, and unhurried conversation in a welcoming, slow-paced setting.
